any lampreys yet?

We have been seeing lots of wild ( naturally reproduced ) lake trout! Growing up fishing lake Champlain and only seeing stock lake trout for close to 30 years. To seeing the numbers of wild trout now is truly amazing!Image attachmentImage attachment+2Image attachment

How does one tell the difference

There is only one way to eat a laker and that is smoked.

They taste better?😜

Today was a beautiful day to be out on lake Champlain! All of our guest were lucky enough to catch lake trout and salmon! The lake trout range from 22-32 inches and the salmon range from 15-25 inches! Can’t wait to get back at it again tomorrow! We still have openings. Give us a call to get on the schedule. 18023242289

We had another successful lake Champlain fishing charter! Started off our morning going for salmon. It didn’t take long and our two guests from Massachusetts box there limit of salmon. So we switched things over and went searching for lake trout. Got into a couple of those and called it a day. Always nice when the fish cooperate!

We had a good bite this morning on Lake Champlain! Out of nowhere we had a snow squall that turned everything white for a bit. Also add a few yellow perch photos for this past weekend.Image attachmentImage attachment+8Image attachment

Hard to beat a day like today! Started fishing around daylight back on the trailer at noon! 17 landlocked Atlantic salmon landed and 15 lake trout. The salmon ranged from 15 inch in length to 25 inches. The lake trout ranged from 22 to 28 inches. With a solar eclipse coming to Vermont on April 8th and fishing being this good. It could be a win win if you book your dates right!Image attachmentImage attachment+Image attachment
